Meet Madison
Madison is an associate attorney at Lewis Kohn & Walker LLP. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, brand enforcement, and general business disputes. She also works closely with the firm's intellectual property procurement team to secure and protect clients'
intellectual property assets.
Madison holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Oregon. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked as a paralegal for several years before earning her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego. While in law school, Madison served as president of the Student Intellectual Property Association and was an active member of the Women's Law Caucus. She also competed in the USPTO's National Patent Application Drafting Competition and participated in the Trademark Clinic where she represented clients in prosecuting trademark applications before the USPTO.
Prior to joining the firm, Madison gained experience at several boutique intellectual property law firms in San Diego. She further developed her intellectual property practice as a law clerk at Lewis Kohn & Walker LLP, where she now practices as an associate. As a San Diego native, Madison enjoys hiking, the beach, rock climbing, spending time with her husband, and exploring the outdoors in her free time.
